Posted on 23:00 by Unknown

Author: J.H. Walker
Title: Rewrite Redemption
Series: None
Genre: YA Paranormal romance/Sci fi elements
E-Copy: From author
Purshace: Amazon
My rating: 4 feet

She’s sixteen. He’s seventeen. They don’t know each other…at least not yet.

She has a secret and her whole life revolves around keeping it. Every few months and with little warning, she simply disappears, pulled into the past for hours or even days. She’s terrified it will happen in front of someone, changing her life forever. So far, the only witnesses have been her parents, and that didn’t end well. She has no control over it and no idea why it happens to her.
She wants answers.
He has answers—at least he understands what’s going on. He has a secret, too. He’s part of an organization that goes back in time to rewrite reality. But he also has a problem. He broke the organization’s number-one rule by altering his own timeline. As punishment, he’s been blocked from time travel, which is most unfortunate. Because the changes he made to his timeline, accidentally resulted in disaster for his family. A disaster he’s now prevented from repairing. No one can travel beneath the organization’s radar except a Shadow. But they’re rare, so rare he’s never even met one.
Then he moves to her town.

What did I think?
I really enjoyed this one! It had a little bit of everything. Time travel, love, hate, sorrow, joy and excitement. It was a complex storyline that made you think a lot. Puzzling different pieces together.
A.J. and Constantines story is really taking and it is hard not to feel for the charachters. They both have had tragedies in their families that reflect who they are when they meet eachother for the first time.
A.J is a girl who tries to be invisible to everyone around her. Except her two best friends Lex and Ipod. Only when she is at home with them in the treehouse they live in she can relax and just be her own bubbly self. In school she speaks to no one and tries to avoid eyecontact with people. She is just too afraid to draw attention to herself incase she dissapears all of a sudden. I mean who can blame her? She is hunted by guilt over her mothers death and her fathers depression. She thinks it´s her fault because none of the could understand how come she just keeps on dissapearing.

Constantine moves to town after a big family tradegy that haunts him. He also thinks that it is his fault for everything that happend in his family. He is angry and unable to fix it. That is until AJ walks in to his life and she gives him hope. He is instantly drawn to her and soon figures out why.

She is an Editor like himself. He knows what he is but she doesen´t. They have a lot to learn from eachother. A.J. made Constantine grow up in a way I think and Constantine helped her learn who and what she was. They balanced eachother out perfectly.

Overall this was a great story!
