In a desperate attempt to live her own life away from the small town she was raised in, Jenna obtains her dream job as the newest member on the Wilmington Police Department’s SWAT Team. What she didn’t predict was that she would run into trouble her first day on the job, in the form of a deadly, mouthwatering man named Adam McPhee. Who is also not human, but more like a wolf walking around in human skin. He’s determined to figure out exactly what Jenna is, which unbeknownst to him, could very well put her life in danger. He’s also determined to have her all to himself. As if that wasn’t enough for Jenna to deal with, bad news blows into town. A group of extremist Shifters who think humans are cattle and factions of Others worldwide should stay within their own species - never to intermingle. Chaos ensues. Jenna has to find a way to shut them down, but in the process of trying to do that, discovers things about herself that even she never thought was possible.

My Thoughts

I really enjoyed this book! It was a fun and exiting read that I highly enjoyed! It was kind of hard to put it down once I started reading it. When I opened the book I was thrown inside the action right away since we meet Jenna a cop on the swat team ready to bring in a suspect for murder! I love when you get thrown right inside the action! This book really captured my attention from start to finish. 

Jenna is a really strong main character. She is not only strong in the physical sense but also has a really strong mind. She doesn't take anyone's shit, no matter who it is, and she doesn't bow for anyone. You just have to love her for that. But she is also kind of headstrong and that is sometimes kind of irritating and cute at the same time.

Adam the other main character of the book is swoon worthy for sure. He is all male and very close to his animal, an animal that sometimes is very close to take over the control! He is not one to play with but drool you will! He is totally adorable but some of his male dominance is kind of irritating for both me as a reader and for Jenna. Like I said she doesn't bow for anyone and that includes Adam and that drives him mad! 

The love story between the two is amazing and make you wish for something like it for yourself! Who wouldn't want a big bad wolf that is insanely in love with you and would do anything to protect you. It doesn't hurt that he is sexy as hell too! 

I loved this book! It was funny and made me laugh at times, insanely romantic, and a lot exiting! This was a really wonderful book that was hard to put down, but not impossible and I recommend it strongly! It will be well worth your time, I promise!
