Book review: Bloodrose by Andrea Cremer

Posted on 23:53 by Unknown
Author: Andrea Cremer
Title: Bloodrose
Series: Nightshade series #3
Genre: Paranormal romance
Purchase: Amazon
My Rating:

About the Book:

Calla has always welcomed war. But now that the final battle is upon her, there's more at stake than fighting. There's saving Ren, even if it incurs Shay's wrath. There's keeping Ansel safe, even if he's been branded a traitor. There's proving herself as the pack's alpha, facing unnamable horrors, and ridding the world of the Keepers' magic once and for all. And then there's deciding what to do when the war ends. If Calla makes it out alive, that is. In this remarkable final installment of the Nightshade trilogy, international bestselling author Andrea Cremer crafts a dynamic novel with twists and turns that will keep you breathless until its final pages.
My Thoughts(Spoiler Alert for those who have not read Wolfsbane!):

I think that I have a litte bit of a love/hate relationship with this third and final book. Wonder why? Well, that is beacouse I just hated how it ended. But I also love it becouse it was something that I was certainly not expecting. This book was amazing in all ways. It made me laugh, cry, smile and I was even a bit angry at times. Andrea Cemer brings you on a emotional rollercoster that you just don´t want to get off.

I think almost all of the characters had a hard time in this book. They were all facing new exciting things in their lives and also hard and scary things.
Shay was adjusting alot to his new role and doing so very well I must say. In the meen time Ren had big adjusting to do himself in the Serchers compound.

And then we have Calla. What can I say. She is an amazing character who has so much to deal with. It is the loss of her mother, Ansel´s new life and of course her extremely complicated love life. This love triangle is one of the best I have read. She obviously loves the both very much but she has to choose and that is not an easy task when your inlove with two guys that are like Ren and Shay. To wrap this one up I just have to say that I fell inlove with this book and this series from the start but even as amazing as this final book was, it managed to leave me empty in the end. Not necesarily in a bad way but i´m kind of sad that it ended like this. Im conflicted. But that is what makes this so great! Pick this one up if you haven´t already beacause it is so worth it!
